Boxes of photo albums with aged yellow pages are a reminder of how I have been using photographs to document life’s events since I was a child. My love of making new friends and capturing the happiest moments of their lives has only grown since. My passion for photography was developed into a profession while attending the University of Georgia where I earned a BFA in photography and minor in journalism. After college I began working for newspapers in Conyers, Ga., Decatur, Al., and now Chattanooga where I strive to share my individual vision with the community I live in. My work has been published nationally in prominent periodicals including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, ESPN and USA Today, and I have been recognized annually receiving numerous awards from the Associated Press, the Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee Press Associations, and the East Tennessee Society of Professional Journalists. I mention these accomplishments to emphasize how much pride I take in my work and how much I love working as a photographer. I cherish each opportunity I receive to document a couple’s wedding day as the images captured during that amazing event will help them relive the beginning of the happiest days of their lives forever.
